Operator docs for the locked v1 workflow: one page, browser-local execution, explicit engine choice, and safe default output handling.

Recommended workflow

• Choose embed or extract before you touch files so the UI can narrow the path early.
• Select the engine explicitly and read its speed, capacity, and stealth guidance.
• Check browser support, file-type guidance, and capacity warnings before you run the job.
• Keep passwords local, confirm them during embed, and use the same secret during extraction.
• Download the resulting stego image or recovered payload directly from the browser.

Engine guidance

StegX is the fast path, HILLX is the balanced path, and HStego is the stealth-first path. The UI should surface those trade-offs before execution instead of burying them behind advanced controls.

Output handling

Use PNG as the default output expectation unless the selected adapter proves another lossless-safe option at runtime. Unsafe or unsupported formats should fail before the job starts.
